Ir. Mohd Fairuz Bin Abd Razak
Ir. Mohd Fairuz is a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer with more than 17 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage electrical power systems, specialising in 132kV–500kV transmission and substation maintenance, diagnostics, commissioning, and operations. He previously served with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and is a Competent Person for 132kV systems under Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
Currently serving as a High Voltage (HV) Engineer with North Consult Engineering (NCE), his responsibilities include reviewing substation drawings and designs for full compliance with IEC standards and TNB technical specifications. He previously served as Resident Electrical Engineer (132kV) at Bridge Data Centre, Cyberjaya.
Ir. Fairuz regularly conducts training for engineers from consultancy firms, solar industry players, EPCC companies, HV contractors, and data centre operators, focusing on practical HV systems, protection, maintenance, and safety-critical work environments.
Ir. Ts. Mohd Azhar Bin Abdul Majid
Ir. Mohd Azhar is a Professional Electrical Engineer with over 16 years of experience in the power utility industry, specialising in high-voltage transmission systems and substation protection engineering. He previously served as a Senior Engineer at Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (Hons.) from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN).
He is a certified 275kV Competent Engineer by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia and has been extensively involved in design verification, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of protection and control systems for 132kV, 275kV, and 500kV transmission networks.
He has contributed as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trainer at TNB ILSAS, conducting technical training in power system protection, relay testing, substation operation, and fault investigation. He is also an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer authorised to deliver structured, industry-recognised training programmes.
Ir. Mohd Hafiz Fikri Bin Mat Desa @ Ismail
Ir. Mohd Hafiz Fikri is a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga, specialising in high-voltage substation protection (132kV–500kV). With 18 years of hands-on experience at Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), he brings extensive technical expertise in protection relay configuration, primary and secondary testing, commissioning, and root-cause fault analysis to ensure optimal grid reliability and performance.
Currently serving as a Resident Engineer at Kiswire Sdn Bhd, his responsibilities focus on delivering practical engineering solutions, technical compliance, and high-voltage operational oversight within the utility and industrial power sectors. He is a proactive team player recognised for maintaining safety-critical power system environments.
Ir. Hafiz holds key regulatory and utility authorisations, including certification as a Competent Electrical Engineer JEK (132kV) under Suruhanjaya Tenaga, TNB Qualified Person for Protection Systems up to 500kV (Dec 2023), TNB Authorised Person up to 275kV (May 2023), and 275kV Qualified Person for Live Protection Maintenance and Competency in Telecontrol Systems up to 500kV (April 2009).
